After a successful run in Edinburgh, I have recorded “Tattooligan” for my début DVD release.

It was a ton of fun to make and is nearly 90 minutes of me being daft - CLICK HERE TO BUY IT.

It’s basically  me being funny in my hometown in front of a sold-out crowd.  I loved filming it, I’m sure you’ll love watching it.

Here’s what the press said about my show in Edinburgh…

“…sharp confessions from an undeniably talented comedian and gifted storyteller… his ability to draw laughs from the darkest places is admirable… the lasting effect is that of genuine poignancy” - Fest

“…Tattooligan is going to be the most talked about stand up show of 2011 – there is no question of that” – The New Current

“…a truly hilarious, yet heart-warming show” – Informed Edinburgh

“…a series of  charming stories” – Sunday Times

…an hour of  honest, thoughtful and energetic comedy that will challenge perceptions and warm hearts” – Fringe Review

“…tales full of wit, warmth and occasional poignancy… certainly uplifting” – Chortle

“…if you want stories of inspiration, hope and intellect then this is for you. Jim is an intelligent, profound and complex performer” – Hairline

I am a heavily tattooed idiot.  I have done many things that I regret.  My life has been ruled by stupid decisions, ridiculous experiences and awful relationships. But last year a woman insisted I was scum merely because of my enormously inked skin and it made me think: Am I?

This show is an examination of my life and my tattoos, illustrated with embarrassing stories, the odd heart-warming moment and the greatest spreadsheet ever constructed.

You should not watch this DVD if you are an ex girlfriend of mine, frightened of watching a man from the Midlands get tattooed or a goose.

Furthermore, I was stupid enough to have the show title tattooed on my belly for the purpose of publicity and hilarity.  I didn’t really think about the pain side of things. Luckily we filmed the experience so you can enjoy my agony in the quest of fame. Enjoy the video below and come and do grab yourself a copy of the DVD!
